Awards Day is held on the last Friday before mid-term of the first term to honour students who have excelled in the previous school year.

Best boy and best girl selected from Leaving Cert classes by sports teachers

Endeavour Awards:

Nominations sought from staff, parents and wider community based on the activities students participate in, inside and outside school.

Academic Awards:

• Best Junior Cert

• Junior Cert students who achieve more than 5 A’s

Community Award:

In honour of the late Michael Murphy, this award is given to a student or group of students who raise money for charity

Art Award (Deirdre O’Reilly Memorial Art Award):

Nominated by Art teacher to student who excelled at art

Gradam Diograise:

Is given to a Leaving Certificate student who is most improved and /or hardworking over the 2 years of Senior Cycle

School Spirit Award

Is given to the student who best enters into the spirit of the school by their overall contribution to all events in the school.

Technology Awards:

Is given to the best Leaving Cert student in Engineering and Construction Studies and the best Junior Cert student in Materials Technology Wood and Metalwork.

Distinguished Past Pupil:

Presented each year to a past pupil who has excelled in any area of life.
