Elaine Mc Gee honoured by Association of Geography Teachers of Ireland

Former student Elaine McGee was awarded the Gwenda Hurst Memorial Medal for the most meritorious Leaving Certificate Geography Exam in 2017 from the Association of Geography Teachers of Ireland in the Trinity City Hotel in Dublin on Friday night last. She was presented the medal by Emeritus Professor John Sweeney of Maynooth University.

The event was attended by Elaine's parents, Bernie and Sean and her teacher Aileen Burke who was presented with a book, Atlas of the Irish Rural Landscape. Well done to both.
