Overview

The Guidance programme can be sub-divided into three distinct but interlinked categories

●      Educational Guidance & Counselling: Study Skills, Subject choice for junior and senior cycle, Examination Techniques, Stress Management, CAO & UCAS applications, DARE & HEAR applications, further education & apprenticeships, Grants & Funding information.

 ●      Career Guidance & Counselling: Vocational Guidance interviews, Career Investigation, Interview Training & Practice, Exploring Options.

 ●      Personal  & Social Counselling: Learners are supported through any personal difficulties they may encounter during their time in Scoil Mhuire gan Smál. Counselling provides a private space where you can talk about personal issues and reflect on your feelings and thoughts without being judged.
