How to join our School
Joining 1st Yr 2027/28 in SMGS Blarney
The 1st Yr enrolment process for 2027/2028 will commence on THURSDAY 1st OCTOBER 2026 AT 8AM AND CLOSE ON THE 23rd OCTOBER 2025.
Successful applicants will be notified on their application by post - BY FRIDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2026. Due to the high volume of applicants each year, these notifications may take a number of days to reach their destination.
Successful applicants will then recieve an email on MONDAY 17th NOVEMBER 2026 BY 5PM with a link enclosed to accept & register/turn down the place offered which MUST be completed by FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER 2026.
If a place in 1st Yr 2027/2028 has not been allocated to you, a number will have been assigned to you. Therefore please refer to the WAITING LIST on the home page. As places become available this list will be adjusted so as to reflect your updated position on the list.

Students interested in joining a year group other than 1st Yr need to email dspratt@smgsblarney.ie
Please note that there are waiting lists for entry to all other year groups at present.
Open Evening
Our Open Night takes place on Tuesday 29th September 2026 @ 7pm.
Please enter through Main Door only.
Principal’s address at 8pm sharp in the GP Area.
