Students of SMGS were recently been awarded Pope John Paul Awards in a ceremony and were presented their medal by the Bishop of Cloyne

SMGS senior hurlers exited the Munster Colleges today despite an excellent performance in Mallow. 
 

2nd Year Science Students, Naomh Colman, have made it to the finalists of a Science competition with Saffron Travel. The competition involved filming a 3 minute video on "The most popular form of transport in 2040 and how will it work"

Following their trip to Coláiste Uisce in Mayo before Midterm break, Transition Year students have been very busy again this week. All TYs took part in a Drumming workshop this week. Classes in Self Defence, the Rebel Óg training programme and First Aid have concluded.

SMGS Senior footballers bowed out of the Munster colleges today with a gallant performance against St. Augustine’s from Dungarvan. 

SMGS are All Ireland 7 a side Camogie Champions.

6th year Geography students conducted their Geographical investigation today along the River Martin in Blarney.
