How to join our School

Joining 1st Yr 2027/28 in SMGS Blarney

  • The 1st Yr enrolment process for 2027/2028 will commence on THURSDAY 1st OCTOBER 2026 AT 8AM AND CLOSE ON FRIDAY 23rd OCTOBER 2026.

  • Successful applicants will be notified on their application by post - BY FRIDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2026. Due to the high volume of applicants each year, these notifications may take a number of days to reach their destination.

  • Successful applicants will then recieve an email on FRIDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2026 BY 5PM with a link enclosed to accept & register/turn down the place offered which MUST be completed by FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER 2026.

  • If you are not allocated a place in 1st Yr 2027/2028 a number reflecting your position on the waiting list will be assigned to you. As places become available successful applicants will be contacted in line with the waiting list.

Other Year Groups

Please review our Admissions Policy for information on applications for year groups other than 1st year. Application forms may be collected from our school office. Only fully completed application forms can be processed. Please note that waiting lists apply to oversubscribed year groups

Open Evening

  • Our Open Night takes place on Tuesday 29th September 2026 @ 6.30 pm.

  • Please enter through Main Door only.

  • Principal’s address at 8pm sharp in the GP Area.
