SMGS Rugby
The Senior Squad won their O Gorman Shield Semi finalon Friday last the 23rd Jan on a scoreline of 55-8 against a St Caimins side from Shannon who had no answer to the power of the SMGS pack and the speed of the back line.
The team beat Rice College, Ennis in a close game a few weeks previous in the quarter final on a scoreline of 14-13.
This team includes many talented players who, as a team have been eager for success for quite a while at Cup Rugby level. Hoping this is their year.
SMGS now contest the final against a strong Waterpark side from Waterford City.
