We have are very fortunate enough to be able to provide a wide range of Clubs and Societies to our students in SMGS. Tomorrow the Clubs and Socs Fair will be on in the GP area for all 1st year students to sign up to whichever area they are interested in.

TY STEM CHALLENGE
Great to see the progress of those involved in the STEM TY Challenge. This is a program where our students are paired up with mentors from STEM industries around Cork to find out what it’s like to work there.
Winning start for SMGS Basketball🏀
Great start to our u16 and u19 girls basketball teams seasons both getting their first wins today in Kinsale. U16 won on a score line of 33–29 and the u19 with a landslide win of 62–14.

An unbelievably spirited team display saw SMGS win the Cork County Senior Hurling final played today against Carrigtwohill in Mayfield.
SMGS Awards Night 2020/2021
It was fantastic to be able to honour our students' achievements again. The last Awards Night held was back in 2019 and there was plenty to congratulate our students for last Thursday Night in @Clayton Silversprings. The Class Awards recognised the motivation, enthusiasm, dedication, kindness and helpfulness of our students and the Academic achievements of the class of 2020 and 2021 were recognised also.
