1st Yrs 2018/19 - Important Information

Entrance Test

The entrance test for our incoming 1st Yrs  2018/19 will take place on  Saturday 28th April from 9.30am-1pm. Registration from 9am. Students exempt from Irish will finish @ 12.15pm approx.

Students are asked to bring in a pencil case and a small snack/drink.

Parents Meeting

On  Thursday 3rd May 2018, there will be a meeting in the school at 7.30pm for all the Parents/Guardians of new 1st years 2018/19.

This will consist of a short presentation and an opportunity to ask questions.

School Uniform

Buckley’s Schoolwear of Shandon St will be in Room 1

on Wednesday 16th May 2018  from 1pm to 8pm

PE Uniform / School Jacket  

Sale of the PE uniform and school jacket  will take place in the Main Hall also on Wednesday 16th May 2018 from 1pm to 8pm

• The PE uniform (compulsory for all 1st Yrs) includes:

  • • ¼ zip top,

    • matching T shirt &

    • Crested navy skinny leggings     (Total cost is €90)

      The rainproof school Jacket retails at €40

      Garments purchased can also be handed up on the same day to be embroidered with pupils names or initials, and can then be collected within a few days.
