Guest Speaker: Michael Lenihan Author and Historian is a very welcome return speaker to our Society with his many excellent presentations. This evening he tells us about The Cork Electric Tramways and Lighting Company who operated a passenger tramway service in Cork with services beginning on 22 December 1898, until tram operations were discontinued in September 1931. Now almost 100 years later, the powers that be are considering re-introducing them to the city once again. An excellent story with beautiful illustrations.
