Blarney Historical Society

The next meeting of the Blarney Historical Society will take place in Scoil Mhuire gan Smál on Thursday 13th April 2023 @ 8pm.

The illustrated Lecture is titled: "‘The Special Language and Traditions of Stonemasons’

Speaker is Jim Fahy

Guest Speaker Mr. Jim Fahy, Stonemason and Historian, hails from a well-known and highly respected family of Stonemasons and this evening, he speaks as an acknowledged expert on the history of the special language and traditions of the Stonemasons trade. He has amassed a huge collection of records and photographs as well as a great many priceless artifacts relating to the trade.
